Local Lush is my spot. I’ve been coming here regularly since around the time they first opened and can’t imagine going anywhere else. The salon is clean, new and smells great - always. Karla and Raf are friendly, kind and hair experts. The experience itself is a little afternoon escape. Truly wonderful experience. I went for the full beard care treatment and trim up. She made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed, did a fantastic job making sure my unruly bears was neat and tidy and trimmed up, did a face scrub, hot towel and steam, with a straight razor line up with after shave. It was overall, a very great experience start to finish and I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to get a bit of pampering. As she said, its good to treat yourself.
We came in for my husband’s haircut, and Carla kindly let our 3-year-old watch so he wouldn’t be scared of his first official haircut. We had no idea how it would go (he was really nervous) but thanks to Carla’s patience and calm approach, it went beautifully. He didn’t cry, he was relaxed, curious, and completely comfortable during the whole process.

I decided I wanted to shave all of my hair off and I couldn’t have found a more supportive hair artist. I return regularly to get my buzz cut refreshed and Carla does an amazing job. The cut is so crisp and clean, yet still very feminine. Carla is lovely to talk to and provides a spa-like experience, even for a quick buzz!
I have a crazy work schedule, but my 30 minute cut with Carla is the most soothing part of my week. She is very friendly, scheduling is a breeze, and my wife says I look very handsome when I get home.

I’ve always gotten the 20$ haircuts and never had a real fancy experience, this place is amazing and while it costs more than 20$ it is worth every penny for the experience and the amazing work they provide!

Do you want your hair cut by a someone who knows how to cut hair... or by an artist? Your job at Local Lush is to shut up and meditate on the premium experience of Nobility. I'm trying to write a review but my girlfriend keeps gushing over me. I definitely will come back and im definitely referring my friends. I've been looking for a barbershop like this since we moved to the valley five years ago. I tried other shops, but was always disappointed. Carla did a wonderful job, asked lots of questions and very open to suggestions. Her only interest was to make sure that I, and ultimately, my wife, are happy with the haircut.
We stopped in right at closing unbeknownst to us to see if they could fix my son’s hair from a previous haircut. Not only did they fix it but put so much effort into making sure he was happy with the result. What an amazing place and such nice owners! They have gained return customers.

By far, the best experience I’ve ever had at a barber! Carla knows her beards. Not only did she do a fantastic trim, but she gave me education and practical advice for how to maintain my beard better between visits so I will have a healthy and good looking beard every day. The executive beard trim was fantastic. Hot towel treatment, facial, steam, essential oils. It was an experience that was in a class of its own. Carla told me her favorite thing to cut is beards and it shows. She looked at the shape of my face and type of hair and was able to make some recommendations that took it to another level. I cannot recommend Local Lush enough! Worth the trip from Seattle.

Was warmly welcomed for my first visit and they provide coffee or water for your appointment! I signed up for an Extended Executive Haircut because I was not sure what type of hairstyle I was looking for. Carla was very friendly and asked some questions to help get an idea of what hairstyle would suit me and make me feel good! Before she started the haircut, I got my hair shampooed with a scalp massage/cleansing tool which felt amazing and have never seen any barbershop use before which I thought was cool! They also use high quality products and offer facial hair appointments which I look forward to trying in my next appointment! Overall, my haircut experience with Carla was the best in the area and love the hair style we ended with!

Can't say how much I enjoyed the entire experience. I was excited when I came on and saw Carla, who o had met at a different location. The head shave was great, but the face shave was beyond amazing, from face massage, steamer and straight razor....typically I would go to Issaquah for head shave etc and would have paid double. Carla is awesome and there is no where else I would go now

My hair was all messy and I was trying to hide a good barber shop. I was told about this place so i checked it out and I have no regrets! The staff are very friendly and it feels very local! Getting a haircut here was very relaxing as well! I’m 100% coming here again! 10/10 would recommend!

Really enjoy coming here! This is my second visit to Local Lush. First was with Rafa and today was with Carla. Both amazing! From their attention to detail, to the utter relaxation I felt while sitting on the chair with the hot and aromatic towels. 10/10 for both haircut and executive shave!

My husband was in need of a beard trim and hair cut on a Sunday before a work event. Every barber shop was closed. We happened to walk by Local Lush and it was open! The owners were very nice and the space was bright and clean. They are a fairly new business, and if they can build up the Sunday clients, they would be able to be open Sundays. It was a great cut/trim! We’ll be back!

Hot towels, shampoo, and a full haircut for only a little more than what you’d spend elsewhere. The owners/barbers are friendly and local. Definitely recommend!
I had a fantastic experience. The haircut was precise with great attention to detail. She took the time to understand what I wanted but also made suggestions on how to make my hair look even better. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and I walked out with a sharp, well-executed cut that looked even better than I had hoped.

My husband had an amazing experience at Local Lush! He got his usual skin fade, but this time also had the nose and ear wax done, and it made such a difference. Everything looks so clean and neat now! He left the shop looking sharp, and he couldn’t stop talking about how professional and comfortable the whole process was. So excited we finally have a high quality barber shop/salon - it's a better version of Weldon Barber and right in town with local owners who are passionate about cutting hair, saw a need, and acted on it...had a great experience, very detailed and comfortable cut and shave. Feel like a million bucks. Thanks for bringing some quality to NB, and I'll see you in 6 weeks 🙂
Definitely a cut above the other places in town for a higher quality haircut. Carla was great! Loved the hot towel and scalp massage. The straight razor for the neck line is the best. The shop is very nice and extremely clean. This town has been needing something like this. No more driving to Issaquah for a Weldon cut. You can get the same thing right here in town! I will be back for sure.
I booked a full shave for my husband and he loved it. My husband felt relaxed and he looked rejuvenated after his treatments were done. The place is clean and the owner is very nice.
Went for a razor shave after a day of work and loved it! The place is gorgeous and the music, the hot towels and the service almost made me sleep of how relaxed I got. Online booking makes all the difference for me, and the location is super convenient because of easy parking with EV charging.
