I’ve lived in North Bend since 2019 and, honestly, I’ve been searching that entire time for a barber I could finally call home. I’ve tried a lot of places (including driving all the way to Issaquah), but nothing ever really stuck—until I found Local Lush Barber.

From the moment I walked in, the experience was different. The owners genuinely care about their craft, the haircut was hands-down the best I’ve had in years, and it was done efficiently without ever feeling rushed. As a guy, it’s rare to find a haircut that’s both relaxing and top-tier—and this absolutely checks both boxes.

Local owners, great vibe, great price, incredible attention to detail. I’m genuinely happy they’re here in North Bend and even happier to say I’ve finally found my long-term barber. Highly recommend checking them out.

Local Lush is my spot. I’ve been coming here regularly since around the time they first opened and can’t imagine going anywhere else. The salon is clean, new and smells great - always. Karla and Raf are friendly, kind and hair experts. The experience itself is a little afternoon escape. I came for a haircut and I left with a head massage, warm face towels, neck clean up, and a sense of relaxation.

Ever since I started coming to Lush, I have not dreamt of going to a different barber. Karla and Rafael individually, are experts in their craft, when they work together (which they often do) their work becomes something more than just cutting hair.

Karla cultivates an experience through exemplary customer service, and a genuine search for connection with her clients that I have not found anywhere else. Whereas Rafael’s cool professionalism and dedication to his craft adds the cherry on top.

It’s difficult to not enjoy yourself when coffee or tea is complementary, and luxury through comfort is the standard. WELL DONE.

Truly wonderful experience. I went for the full beard care treatment and trim up. She made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed, did a fantastic job making sure my unruly bears was neat and tidy and trimmed up, did a face scrub, hot towel and steam, with a straight razor line up with after shave. It was overall, a very great experience start to finish and I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to get a bit of pampering. As she said, its good to treat yourself.

We came in for my husband’s haircut, and Carla kindly let our 3-year-old watch so he wouldn’t be scared of his first official haircut. We had no idea how it would go (he was really nervous) but thanks to Carla’s patience and calm approach, it went beautifully. He didn’t cry, he was relaxed, curious, and completely comfortable during the whole process.

Do you want your hair cut by a someone who knows how to cut hair... or by an artist? Your job at Local Lush is to shut up and meditate on the premium experience of Nobility. What a wonderful experience, again! A few weeks back, I needed a haircut and was in a bit of a hurry. Popped into Local Lush and they were able to get me in a chair mere minutes after inquiring about walk ins. Great conversation, intelligent questions about how I wear my hair, wants/needs, product and more! By the way, the straight razor shave is definitely luxurious.
Made an appointment for today on the way home from work and was once again welcomed with open arms! Bright, clean and very well appointed, you feel as if you’ve just stepped into a spa at a luxury resort and the service just continues the theme. I will be back again and again.

By far, the best experience I’ve ever had at a barber! Carla knows her beards. Not only did she do a fantastic trim, but she gave me education and practical advice for how to maintain my beard better between visits so I will have a healthy and good looking beard every day. The executive beard trim was fantastic. Hot towel treatment, facial, steam, essential oils. It was an experience that was in a class of its own. Carla told me her favorite thing to cut is beards and it shows. She looked at the shape of my face and type of hair and was able to make some recommendations that took it to another level. I cannot recommend Local Lush enough! Worth the trip from Seattle.

Bottom line : excellent haircut, great service, worth the price.

During covid, I cut my own hair and, well... it definitely made me appreciate a quality barber that much more. Since then, the chain barbers have really ratcheted up their prices, and going to them always feels like a gamble - never quite know who you're going to get or how good they are (or how good their tools are - I once left a Great Clips with three band-aids on my neck).

These folks are awesome. They listen, they communicate, they pay attention to details - clearly they have a lot of knowledge, experience, and quality tools. Happy to call them my new regular barber.

Was warmly welcomed for my first visit and they provide coffee or water for your appointment! I signed up for an Extended Executive Haircut because I was not sure what type of hairstyle I was looking for. Rafael was very friendly and before he started the haircut, I got my hair shampooed with a scalp massage/cleansing tool which felt amazing and have never seen any barbershop use before which I thought was cool! They also use high quality products and overall, my haircut experience with Rafael was the best in the area and love the hair style we ended with!

The head shave was great, but the face shave was beyond amazing, from face massage, steamer and straight razor....typically I would go to Issaquah for head shave etc and would have paid double. The owners were very nice and the space was bright and clean. They are a fairly new business, and if they can build up the Sunday clients, they would be able to be open Sundays. The shop is very nice and extremely clean. This town has been needing something like this. No more driving to Issaquah for a Weldon cut. You can get the same thing right here in town!
